  • Panic/Anxiety Disorders - Home Page - Resources and support for people recovering from anxiety and panic disorders including links, articles, pen pals, news, chat, bulletin board, newsletter and more. Holy cow this is one AWESOME site! Put together with about.com, it has EVERYTHING. This may be the only information resource anyone needs. I definitely rate this site a 10. - (Added: 10-Jul-2000) [Votes: 1][Rating: 10.00] [Reviews: 0] [View Reviews / Rate this link] [Report a dead link]
  • Anxiety/Panic Attack Resource Site - This site offers help to those who suffer from anxiety/panic attacks by offering information on medications, treatments, symptoms, and support by offering a chat channel. This site has many resources including a very active message board. The advertisements are a little distracting, but the information seems pretty good. I rate this site a 9. - (Added: 10-Jul-2000) [Votes: 1][Rating: 9.00] [Reviews: 0] [View Reviews / Rate this link] [Report a dead link]
  • Benzodiazepine Equivalence Charts - A while ago people were interested in relative doses of benzodiazepines. This is a table which I find useful. It is difficult to compare them on the same scale since they differ in their anxiolytic, sedative, and antipanic effects, but this table provides a rough comparison useful for managing benzodiazepine taper or withdrawal. - (Added: 22-Aug-2000) [Votes: 1][Rating: 8.00] [Reviews: 0] [View Reviews / Rate this link] [Report a dead link]
  • Center for Stress and Anxiety Disorders - The Center for Stress and Anxiety Disorders (CSAD) is a nationally and internationally recognized clinical research facility affiliated with the Department of Psychology, University at Albany, State University of New York. A very few links, as well as info on how to join their research projects. Very limited publications availabe on PTSD at this time. I rate the site a 6 - (Added: 11-Jul-2000) [Votes: 1][Rating: 6.00] [Reviews: 0] [View Reviews / Rate this link] [Report a dead link]
  • Panic Disorders Institute - There is a lot of information on this site. It is basically supervised by Dr. Shipko, a neurologist and psychiatrist specializing in anxiety. I personally disagree with his approach, specifically his dislike of SSRI's and use of alternative unproven treatments. Nonetheless, he seems to spend a good deal of time answering questions with thoughtful, if not accurate, answers I rate the site a 9 for quantity and a 4 for quality. - (Added: 11-Jul-2000) [Votes: 2][Rating: 4.00] [Reviews: 0] [View Reviews / Rate this link] [Report a dead link]
