Well it depends upon who you ask. Manufacturers, of course, adamantly
insist that you'll screw the printer up royally if you use anything
other than their original cartridges. And then you find a number of
people who just as adamantly insist that's nonsense.

Count me in the latter camp. :)

I think you are talking about cartridges for laser printers, yes? Or
for inkjets? The "refurbished" seems to indicate a laser. But if it IS
an inkjet, you can buy refill kits from any of a number of sources. I
get mine from http://www.atlascopy.com and have had no problems (apart
from creating a mess when I get careless); there are many other
sources for the kits besides atlascopy and your mileage may vary.
(This is solely a personal endorsement of the atlascopy product and
not a paid advertisement, etc.)
